CHANGING THE WAY OUR COMMUNITY GIVES DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH

During the month of March, we are changing the way our community gives. The United Way of Milford is raising awareness by collecting crucial personal care items for our senior and disabled residents of Milford in need. The United Way is expanding our community impact by helping to replenish the increasing requests the Milford Senior Center receives for these critical items. We see and hear about costs rising all around us day after day. This especially puts a financial burden on our senior and disabled individuals living on a fixed income.

United Way of Milford’s mission “Together We Help People” is a cause that positively impacts the lives of so many local senior/disabled residents.  Please help support our cause by donating Senior wish list items such as: Toilet Paper, Incontinence Pads, Pull up Pads, Shampoo, Razors, Shaving Cream, Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Body Wash, Moisturizing Lotion, Deodorant, Denture Cleaning Tablets, and Laundry Soap.

Our blue collection bins are located at Caporusso Orthodontics, Carlson Insurance, Climate Control Partners, D’Amato Brothers Builders, Milford Board of Education (office in the Parson’s Complex), Milford City Clerk (office in the Parson’s Complex), Milford Fabricating Company, Milford Vascular Institute, The Milford Bank (all Milford branches), United Way of Milford, and Woodruff Family YMCA.

“The United Way of Milford is always looking for ways to strengthen our community from the inside out and helping people get, stay and live well said Gary Johnson, President and CEO. “With the help and support of our local businesses and employees from companies such as Subway, BIC, Edgewell, and The Milford Bank, individuals and the community at large, we can all work together to help our senior and disabled residents of Milford not have to go without.”
